Job Description

We’re adding Game Changers to our Treasury Team and hiring a Senior Treasury Analyst…What’s a Game Changer at W.R. Grace you ask?... it’s someone that can showcase their analytical skills, offer ideas and implement solutions that positive impact our business. The Senior Treasury Analyst will be responsible for supporting Grace’s treasury operation and risk management activities, be able to articulate global treasury concepts, evaluate, recommend and implement new strategies and be comfortable interacting across functions. Key responsibilities are broken out as follows:

 

Treasury Operations:

  • Oversee North American cash desk operations, including but not limited to bank account management, inquiries and maintenance, bank portal and user administrations, balance reporting, occasional manual wire processing, short-term excess cash investment and borrowing
  • Own monthly global intercompany multicurrency netting process, including establishing and communicating schedule/calendar, producing netting positions/reports, executing foreign exchange (FX) trades, dispensing payments and assisting Accounting and/or Accounts Payable to resolve discrepancies
  • Produce cash flow forecasts for Grace’s Canadian entity and monitor its liquidity, including decisions on foreign currency settlements
  • Complete and distribute monthly and quarterly Treasury reports
  • Produce quarterly global interest expense/income and bank fee forecasts, including consolidate regional submissions
  • Handle SOX control and internal audit requests related to Treasury activities
  • Support North American JV (ART) Treasury related matters
  • Support Grace’s Treasury Management System (TMS) roll-out and implementation
  • Back up EMEA region cash desk
  • Assist with ad hoc requests for corporate insurance and pension program management
  • Partner closely with banks and other 3rd party agents to obtain operational efficiencies

Required Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with colleagues, senior level management, and outside advisors
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks/deadlines within a fast-paced environment
  • Team oriented and capable of collaborating across multiple functions within the organization
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • SAP or another similar ERP system

Required Experience

  • BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in corporate treasury, banking or a related field

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with BPC, BW, Bloomberg, FiREapps and/or Misys
  • Experience with TMS (GTreasury a plus) design, buildout and operation
  • Project management skills/experience
