Job Description

We’re hiring a SAP System Design Lead - Finance who has expertise in SAP System Design to lead the Global design, process, and policy creation to support the implementation of the financial structure for our Material Requirement Planning (MRP).  You will partner with Finance and Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Leadership, Operations, and Consultants.  This role will be required to present findings, recommendation, solutions and implementation plans to all levels of ISC and Financial Leadership. Other responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with Operations and Finance to determine the optimal financial structure and processes to support the implementation of the MRP system
  • Develop, test and implement the corresponding financial structure (transactions, processes, controls and financial statement presentation) required for the successful launch of MRP.
  • Develop learning and training materials for end users and lead training classes on new functionality
  • Provide troubleshooting support during and after implementation to ensure a smooth transition into the new MRP processes
  • Lead change management throughout the process in a spirit of collaboration shared learning.
  • Present findings, recommendations and implementation plans to all levels Operations, ISC and Finance
  • Maintain working lines of communication with all applicable leadership to address issues and concerns as well as aid in removing roadblocks to a successful implementation.
  • Develop maturity roadmap for continued FI and CO process improvements and lead execution of results
  • Effectively promote FI and CO process best practices and drive improvements align technology and processes
  • Analyze current policies, perform gap analysis and recommend necessary improvements to govern processes globally

Required Skills

  • Ability to interface and partner with all levels of operations and financial personnel in order to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Demonstrated Leader of processes without direct line supervisory hierarchy.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills as well as excellent business acumen
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite capabilities (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Current SAP configuration and module working knowledge in FI and CO
  • Business process analysis and design experience: strong business analysis skills; process mapping, business process redesign and implementation
  • Knowledge or FI and CO in repetitive and process order environments

Required Experience

  • BS in Finance/Accounting or related field
  • 7+ years relevant experience in a large multinational manufacturing corporation (progressing in finance/accounting and working in a matrixed environment); including minimum 3 years' experience of manufacturing accounting in an SAP environment
  • SAP experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or CPA
