Job Description

§Inputs maintenance work notifications, accounting for quality and completeness
§Acts as the POC for approving, coordinating, & scoping P1 maintenance work
§Ensures maintenance (including associated permits) is executed as planned
§Validates all completed maintenance work and TECO’s associated work orders
§Manages Team member disciplinary issues
§Assesses Team capability and coordinates Team training requirements accordingly
§Engages Team members actively and openly; validating the absence of Operator variability
§Coaches proper execution of commissioning, start-up, shut-down, & change-over operations
§Ensures safety, cleanliness, and general 5S of the Area
§Executes effective Grace Manufacturing System (GMS) shift level activities to ensure Team success
§Maintains shift reports & SIC boards to provide meeting inputs related to daily performance KPI’s
§Ensures proper troubleshooting is happening on the production floor
§Manages/prioritizes schedule breaks and changes to shift plans
§Ensures Operator accountability, coaching, & performance management
§Handles off-shift or last minute staffing concerns accordingly
§Supports/conducts safety programs, initiatives, improvements, audits, OIR’s, incident investigations, & Zero Energy Surveys

Required Skills

Accountable for leading the Production shift to meet daily goals

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering and/or the years of equivalency in a manufactruing environment

Must have strong communication and organiztional skills and will interact with hourly and salaried employees

Must be able to show leadership abilities to direct a workforce in a respectful and responsible manner
