Job Description

Accountable for the recognition, performance, and development of the Engineering  Team
Manages the allocation of engineering resources to achieve business goals, priorities, & KPI’s
Accountable for the continuous improvement of the Engineering body of work to include applicable processes, methodologies, tools, standards, & operating procedures
Manages the prioritized portfolio of current and potential capital, productivity, process, & reliability projects
Engages Team members actively and openly in both field & office settings; validating the absence of constraints or problems
Participates in EHS incident investigations, safety audit programs, & attends/leads safety meetings for Engineering personnel
Manages the safe execution of planned outages, capital shut-down events, new process design, equipment changes, & related PSSR/commissioning activities
Plans, documents, & trains the Site Team on Engineering KPI’s meant to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) & targeted opportunities within the Engineering sphere of influence
Manages budgeting, expenditures, RFP, & MSA processes as applicable
Effectively drives the Engineering Team into the Grace Manufacturing System (GMS) way of operating: Plan. Do. Check. Problem Solve.

Required Skills

Accountable for successful management of capital projects, productivity, reliability and process control to maintain continuous improvements and financial growth for the site.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required

7-10 years of operations experience in petro-chemical plants including leadership/management experience

Working knowledge of PSM programs
