Job Description

  • Complying with all internal and external safety regulations pertaining to environmental protection and occupational & traffic safety according to the GRACE EHS system and ensuring that the staff assigned to the executives receive up-to-date training; directly pointing out and stopping identified mistakes or wrong behavior.”
  • To build excellent relationships across multiple functions and levels with the customer organization with the aim of optimizing both short and long term profitability and performance. Serves as main customer contact point and co-ordinates all issues between Sales, Technical Service, Customer Service, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain and Finance within and inter region.
  • Convener and facilitator of Grace Customer Meetings and to ensure compliance with agreements.
  • Ultimate responsibility on monthly forecasting and ensuring order to cash processes work efficiently for the assigned accounts/territory.
  • Investigates account & regional needs, gathers and analyzes information to identify new business opportunities for Grace as a whole.  Develop and implement strategies in order for Grace to meet those requirements.
  • Transfer information from the customer to product development to ensure clients are understood and appropriate products are developed for their needs. Engage with Marketing, R&D and Technical Service to ensure alignment and drive programs. Ensures that all necessary resources needed are used efficiently and effectively in order to deliver timely solutions.
  • Works as pier towards others in the sales organization with less experience, providing guidance in selling strategies and account management. Participates actively in regional network to maximize regional performance.
  • Discussing with VP and implementing the regional strategic direction for the business unit including specific objectives and metrics for growth and profitability
  • Negotiates terms of regional sale and supply agreements
  • When necessary, taking over additional tasks in related or other projects
  • Travel required up to 50%

Required Skills

  • University degree in a technical or business discipline. Post-graduate degree a plus
  • Cultural adaptability
  • Demonstrate Leadership skills (entrepreneurship, decisive, energy, focus, ability to coach and motivate)
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation experience on complex deals
  • Strong focus on execution (pragmatic, well organized, fast)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Ability to apply environmental, health and safety practices to the workplace
  • Proven talent for leading a multi-cultural team in a matrix organization
  • Expertise with wide range of business practices and tools
  • Valid driving license

Required Experience


  • University degree in a technical or business discipline. Post-graduate degree a plus
  • Min. 5 years experience, of which significant part in a Sales/Marketing/ business management role
  • Expertise with wide range of business practices and tools
