Long Description

Global Talent Manager (TM) Accountability

  • Serve as a global subject matter expert bringing enterprise initiatives to life in the EMEA and APAC regions (e.g., engagement & inclusion, diversity, change managements, knowledge transfer, leadership development, etc.)
  • With global implementations, keep top of mind a concern for local/regional customs, applications, laws, and best practices.
  • Conduct needs assessments identifying themes and regional needs for review and consideration at an enterprise level. Then in partnership with the Talent Management Leadership Team, design programmatic and consultative responses to address regional and local needs (e.g. coaching, peer learning, knowledge transfer, traditional training)
  • Serve as Subject Manager Expert in designing processes, services and programs that enhance Grace’s Great Talent and High-Performance Culture
  • Drive reinforcement and sustainment efforts to ensure regional embedment of change and development efforts, helping clients make the most of TM opportunities.
  • With TM Leadership, make use of integrated dashboards and metrics that provide insight across the employee life cycle.
  • Create and maintain relationships with regional vendors, and the regional presence of global suppliers and consultants. Stay abreast of local groups capabilities for advancing the Grace TM initiatives.



Regional EMEA TA/L&D Accountability

  • Accountable to deliver TA support re band 4-6 hires across the EMEA region including but not limited to processes of proactive candidate searches in global networks, selecting and managing external recruitment partners, training and mentoring on behavioral interviewing,
  • Accountable to drive, implement, train and monitor the implementation of global and local L&D initiatives as global Grace trainings, trainings of the chemical chamber of industry etc. re implementation success as well as key learnings for future activities
  • Accountable partner to drive MLP program as cross-country experience incl interaction with Integrated Supply Chain Leadership Team EMEA regarding slots as well as managing interface with Deloitte & Grace payroll to ensure proper handling and required documentation of social security and tax issues in accordance with company procedures, global policies and country specific laws
  • Be partner of the EMEA HR community to drive operational excellence with smooth processes and an aligned HR answer toward clients’ challenges and questions

Required Experience

  • 7-10 years of experience in HR professional roles in publicly listed global companies or international human capital consulting firms
  • State-of-the-art knowledge in effective Organization Development, Adult Learning Theory, and Talent Management methods
  • Proven experience providing internal or external consulting using a framework of needs assessment, root cause identification, holistic performance solution development, and evaluation.
  • Good understanding of Manufacturing environment culture as well as change management toolkit within a manufacturing environment is a plus
  • An understanding of codetermination laws regarding L&D and TA aspects within a unionized environment (EU works council, national works councils, unions and CBAs) at least within Germany, best in further EU countries
  • Master’s degree in Psychology, MBA or Bachelor degree with higher level training and/or certifications; Society for Human Resource Management / CIPD certification
  • Human capital management system is critical , SAP Success Factors experience is a plus
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Negotiation skills, Sharp business acumen, winning personality, High level of influencing skills
