Job Description

Grace is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team!.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing and maintaining chemcial processes, including piping, equipment and pumps.  This includes both routine preventative maintenance and day to day troubleshooting of issues to ensure proper and efficient operations at a 24/7 manufacturing site. This position will report to the Maintenance Superintendent and will be located at the Tyrone Pennsylvania site.

This position will work a rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems at the facility.
  • Repairing and troubleshooting chemical process equipment.
  • Removing idle chemical process pipes.
  • Utilize non-routine, setup, hot work, lockout tagout, and confined space permits regularly.
  • Other site related repair and maintenance tasks

Physical Requirements and Environment

  • Ability to work in a high hazard environment, including adverse weather conditions, elevated spaces, confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and noisy surroundings.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb stairs and ladders over 100 ft.
  • Must be willing to wear PPE (Personal Protective equipment) including but not limited to hard hat, protective eyewear, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, Level A suit, full face respirator

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience working from heights
  • 2+ years experience in a maintenance trade position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with safety procedures, such as lock out/tag out, hot work, etc.
  • Experience working a rotating schedule.
