Job Description

Grace is seeking a Stores Associate for our South Haven Site.  The South Haven Site produces a portfolio of products for the specialty pharmaceutical industries, specifically Active Pharmaceutical Intermediates.  Consisting of a cGMP kilo lab, pilot plant and custom manufacturing at  the commercial volumes, the site is fully equipped to develop and manufacture custom drug intermediates and API’s.

This position will pay between $21-$24 per hour depending on previous experience.

It is the purpose of this position to maintain receiving services to the facility.  The Stores position reports to the Maintenance Manager.

Duties include:

 

  • Responsible for the receiving orders and inventory control, including receiving, issuing, and maintaining inventory records of maintenance material and the preparation of financial reports.
  • Processes purchase orders for procurement of capital equipment and materials required for capital projects.
  • Assists Maintenance manager in preparing their expenditure plans for project materials, tool crib items, and etc.
  • Coordinates personnel assigned to the material control, stockroom, and tool crib sections.
  • Responsible for tool crib operations including procurement, inventory control, and maintenance of tool crib items.
  • Conducts usage analysis and coordinates with supervisors in determining items classified as standard stock inventory, including the determination of minimum and maximum stock balances.
  • Coordinates with supervisors in determining tool crib requirements, including specific tool crib items, quantities, and locations for issuance.
  • Assists the maintenance manager in preparation of the annual budget for maintenance materials.
  • Pull and prepare non vendor items for placement in vending machines.
  • Conducts material analysis studies, prepares special reports, and performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills, Education and Experience

  • High school diploma is required.
  • 2 years’ experience in material procurement and inventory control preferred.
  • Good understanding of SAP a plus.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, deal with vendors and customers in a positive setting.
  • Good computer skills required.
  • Must enjoy a fast paced environment and have good attention to details.
