Job Description
Grace is a seeking a Production Supervisor at our South Haven, MI site. The South Haven Site produces a portfolio of products for the specialty pharmaceutical industries, specifically Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients. Consisting of a cGMP kilo lab, pilot plant and custom manufacturing at the commercial volumes, the site is fully equipped to develop and manufacture custom drug intermediates and API’s. South Haven is nestled on the coast of Lake Michigan with beautiful beaches and fun year-round.
The Production Supervisor directs shift production activities including assignment of work, control of material flow, training, discipline, safety and housekeeping. Provides positive leadership, creates a safe and productive work environment, supervises and coordinates activities of production workers.
12 hour rotating from days to nights every 12 weeks:
12 week day 4:30 am-4:30 pm
12 week nights 4:30 pm-4:30 am

This position reports to the Production Superintendent and is on-site in South Haven, MI.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily production operations by assigning tasks, resolving work-related issues, and ensuring team alignment with schedules.
- Monitor in-process batches and procedures to ensure compliance with batch records and quality standards.
- Oversee accurate completion of batch documentation and maintain production records.
- Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and overall product quality.
- Conduct routine safety audits and enforce company policies to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
- Collaborate with other supervisors and departments to coordinate activities and communicate shift status.
- Manage hazardous waste and maintain housekeeping standards in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Interpret company policies for workers and enforces safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's and 5+ years of experience OR High School Diploma and 5+ years chemical manufacturing experience in a leadership role.
- 4+ years experience leading teams.
- Experience motivating a team , ownership and accountability
- Experience with applicable regulations (OSHA, NFPA, cGMP etc.)
- Experience using MS Office suite
Physical and Environmental Requirements
- Must be willing to wear PPE (Personal Protective equipment) including but not limited to hard hat, protective eyewear, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, Level A suit, full face respirator
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb stairs and ladders over 100 ft.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and standards working in a pilot plant facility with highly hazardous materials

- Experience effectively consulting and advising a diverse audience.
- Experience handling multiple compliance tasks and decisions with minimal supervision
