Job Description

 

We’re hiring a Solutions Architect to focus on SAP IBP Supply Chain Planning and Execution. The position will report to the Senior Solutions Manager, Enterprise Applications and will be located out of our corporate headquarters in Columbia, MD with a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office per week).

This position acts as a subject matter expert, providing technical expertise and translating business requests into technical & business process requirements.

Responsibilities

 

  • Act as SME and IT project manager for small to medium sized projects in supply chain preferably with SAP IBP 
  • Research and recommend chemical industry best practices and align with key stakeholders to maintain strategic Supply Chain Management IT roadmap
  • Provide recommendations to leadership on applying current/emerging best practices addressing issues critical to success
  • Share knowledge and develop relationships with on/offshore maintenance and project teams
  • Identify, establish, and maintain business relationships with key Grace stakeholders in supply chain
  • Identify and manage change management needs leading to the successful acceptance of new processes and use of technology
  • Manage projects including providing status reporting, tracking budget and managing internal and external resources
  • Ability to travel up to 15% to include International

Required Qualifications

 

  • 5+ Years of Experience in SAP IBP, APO implementations and integration with SAP ECC/ S/4
  • 2+ full cycle implementation of S&OP process on SAP IBP platform is required
  • Experience in End-to-End Implementation, support, upgrade & Supply optimization projects
  • Knowledge and hands on experience in IBP and APO sub-modules like DP, SP, IO, SNP, CIF and GATP and good understanding of integration between planning tools and ERP (APO - ERP, IBP - ERP)
  • 10+ years IT Systems Projects / Business Analysis / Service experience
  • Deep knowledge in S&OP Heuristic, Optimizer, Propagation heuristic algorithms

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Good knowledge of Supply Chain processes in chemical industry
  • Knowledge of other modules of SAP, such as SD, MM and PP
  • Certification from APICS
