Job Description

Grace is seeking a dedicated and safety-focused Warehouse Operator to join our Logistics team in Pasadena, Texas. The Warehouse Operator reports directly to the Logistics & Supply Chain Manager and plays a critical role in supporting five key operational areas within the warehouse.

 

This role supports daily warehouse, cylinder preparation, and material-handling activities that are essential to meeting Grace’s production schedule and operational plan. 

Responsibilities

  • Scrape, clean and paint all cylinders in preparation for shipment
  • Offload and load containers using forklift
  • Prepare packaging for operations -build out drums with hardware prior to pack out.
  • Flush cylinder, replace hardware and clean cylinders Iin preparation for pack out
  • Will frequently handle, store and transport chemicals, including potentially hazardous chemicals. Must work safely with hazardous chemicals and various organic and air sensitive materials
  • Prepare and label warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to the schedule
  • Receiving and processing warehouse stock
  • Complete shipments by processing and loading orders

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • 1-3 years of warehouse, logistics, or material handling Experience
  • Valid forklift certification
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment.

Physical Requirements and Environment

  • Ability to follow safety protocols and standards working in a laboratory environment with highly hazardous materials
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and standards working in a pilot plant facility with highly hazardous materials
  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb stairs and ladders over 100 ft.
  • Ability to work in a high hazard environment, including adverse weather conditions, elevated spaces, confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and noisy surroundings.
  • Must be willing to wear PPE (Personal Protective equipment) including but not limited to hard hat, protective eyewear, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, Level A suit, full face respirator

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience handling chemicals
  • Familiarity with SAP
  • Knowledge of DOT, OSHA or safety compliance requirement
  • Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
