Major Responsibilities

  • Responsible for full spectrum of controlling and accounting functions for a set of Grace legal entities in multiple countries. 
  • Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day accounting with local service providers and the teams in our global service center in Manila. Ensure that every reporting is filed with the authorities timely and in compliance with local laws and requirements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with local accounting standards as well as according to US-GAAP and internal policies. Responsibility to execute and document internal controls.
  • Close cooperation with the teams in General Accounting, AP, Treasury, Tax, Payroll in the hubs mainly located in the US, the Philippines and Germany.
  • Prepare and submit all country-specific reporting - including VAT, tax returns, statistics, and any other reporting requirements 
  • Balance sheet account reconciliation (including payroll accruals), reconciliation of the P&L, reconciliation to the system of the local partner, comment on balances & differences.
  • Support of national and international projects on continuous improvement and standardization of the finance processes.
  • In short - this is the position of the central authority for all finance, tax and registration / reporting topics and the competent contact person for any internal or external stakeholders.

Required Experience

  • Min. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5-8 years of progressive experience an international environment and/or public accounting firm in the finance / accounting sector
  • Financial accounting and reporting knowledge according to US-GAAP / international GAAP
  • SAP FI and MS-Office knowledge (professional in Excel is a must)
  • Strong capability to efficiently communicate with multiple stakeholders located in different countries.
  • Ambition to achieve goals and talented to challenge and motivate others.
  • Critical soft skills: Strong “hands-on” mentality, move and drive a lot of things in day-to-day business, tackle things independently and able to control a multitude of activities at the same time.
