Job Description
The HR Enablement Supervisor leads HR service delivery through a Manila-based team of HR Generalists who primarily support Manila and US-based HR teams and employee populations.
This role is responsible for team leadership, case management, escalation handling, and service quality, ensuring seamless support between Tier 1 (Helpdesk), HR Generalists, and HR COEs.
Success in this role means delivering high-quality, consistent HR support, strong ownership of escalations, and enabling HR Generalists to effectively partner with stakeholders.
Responsibilities (1 of 2)
- Lead and develop a Manila-based team of HR Generalists supporting Manila and U.S. (Columbia, MD-aligned) HR teams and employee populations.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and feedback to strengthen HR capability, case handling, and overall service delivery quality.
- Partner with business clients and HR Business Partners to support small-scale organizational design activities, including role clarity, team structure changes, workflow alignment, and change readiness.
- Facilitate or support talent discussions, including talent review preparation, succession planning inputs, development planning, and follow-up actions.
- Coach leaders on performance management practices, including expectation setting, feedback, documentation, performance improvement planning, and accountability conversations.
- Establish and reinforce expectations for case ownership, responsiveness, and stakeholder engagement.
- Drive team performance, engagement, and continuous development.
Responsibilities (2 of 2)
- Oversee intake, assignment, and prioritization of Tier 2 HR cases, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Act as the primary escalation point for Tier 1 (Helpdesk) issues, resolving complex or sensitive HR matters requiring supervisory judgment.
- Ensure effective coordination and handoffs between Tier 1, HR Generalists, and HR COEs.
- Ensure alignment with U.S. policies, practices, and service expectations across all case handling.
- Analyze escalation trends and service issues to identify root causes and implement improvements.
- Contribute to HR Enablement initiatives, including service delivery model enhancements and continuous improvement efforts.
- Support ongoing optimization of the Tiered Service Delivery model.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5 - 7 years of HR generalist or HR operations experience.
- Experience handling HR inquiries across multiple domains (policy, data, transactions).
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Effective communication skills in a global or distributed team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a shared services or help desk environment.
- Exposure to people leadership or team lead responsibilities.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms and ticketing systems.
- Experience working across time zones with U.S.-based teams.
- Interest in developing as a people leader.
