Job Description

The position will be primarily responsible for finance activities related to the monthly close process. This person will manage the close processes, finance master data, and system functionality in SAP FICO, SAP ECCS, SAP BPC, SAP SAC, Blackline, and Prolease.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare month-end close schedules, calendars, and task lists
  • Perform monthly close tasks
  • Liaise with IT as needed for monthly close tasks, issue identification and resolution
  • Participate in all regular post month end close reviews to revisit process, discuss issues and propose solutions
  • Manage journal entry workflow approval matrix in SAP
  • Comprehend data flows and transformations from across the financial systems
  • Identify process improvement efforts within all financial systems
  • Ensure compliance with all finance policies and internal controls
  • Support audit activities (control testing, external audit, and internal audit).
  • Perform Blackline administration activities and prepare Blackline reports and/or dashboards
  • Perform administration activities in Prolease and execute amortization schedules
  • Perform maintenance and administration activities for SAP BPC and SAC
  • Manage financial master data such as general ledger accounts, profit centers, cost centers and bank masters.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Education / Experience

  • Strong PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Good interpersonal skills along with solid oral and written communication
  • A self-starter with a strong work ethic
  • Proficient in analysis and problem solving skills
  • Willing to work on shifting schedule

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2-5 years experience in Accounting/Finance or Information Systems
  • SAP FICO, ECCS, BPC or SAC experience is desired
