Job Description

The Credit & Collections Manager, Global will be responsible for leading the global credit & collections function for Grace. Utilizing hands-on experience in credit & collections, accounts receivable, customer service issues, and financial analysis he/she will be responsible for overseeing the Credit and Collections Team, directing monthly collection plans, forecasting accounts receivable and collection targets, and reporting historical results to Grace leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  •   Lead Credit and Collections Team based in Manila, Philippines ensuring development objectives and succession planning;
  • Main point of contact in Manila for Grace leadership stakeholders regarding collections issues;
  • Communicate closely with the Collection Managers, Business Finance Leads and Commercial leadership teams to facilitate timely payment of receivables;
  • Monitor and react appropriately to customer accounts requiring individual attention and special arrangements;
  • Perform customer account and trend analysis of working capital statistics related to Accounts Receivable;
  • Consolidate forecasting of accounts receivable KPIs;
  • Report consolidated results to GPO related to accounts receivable KPIs;
  • Review/update Grace Policies, Procedures, and Implementation Guides related to Collections annually;
  • Coordinate closely with Credit Management and Business Finance Leads on all credit-related activity;
  • Provide strong support, as needed, for credit decisions including but not limited to plan and execute periodic review/update of existing and new customer credit profiles;   
  • Challenge current practices and manage productivity initiatives to drive continual incremental improvement around the overall credit & collections process.

Job Specifications

  • 7 to 10 years Credit & Collections and Financial Analysis experience.  
  • Experience in Shared Services / Business Process Outsourcing industry with multinational companies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills relating to customer service and customer relations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to meet and work with commercial/sales teams and customers as needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to assist with various reports. 
  • BA degree or equivalent required.
  • SAP, BPC, and SAC experience preferred.
