Job Description

We’re hiring a Chargeman ( BO )  for WR Grace Specialty Chemicals (M) Sdn Bhd located at Gebeng Industrial Area , Kuantan Pahang  who will report to the E & I  Supervisor. You will be responsible for maintaining the plant electrical system in order to ensure uninterrupted, safe and smooth power supply for plant operation

Responsibilities

• Actively promotes safety conscious approach to all activities undertaken in execution at job duties and comply with all safety procedures.
• Monitor and ensure that all Energy Commision requirements are met.
• Perform switching operation to 11KV & 415V switchboard and perform maintenance & trouble shoot .
• Carry out maintenance and trouble shoot on Electrical motors and Motor Control Centre.
• Carry out maintenance and trouble shoot on variable speed drives and package local control panel.
• Maintaining all Electrical distribution boxes in the plant.
• Carry out and enforcing Electrical Lock out and Tag Out procedure to ensure safety of maintenance personnel in carrying out  plant maintenance activities .
• Maintaining all lighting , lightning and earthing system.
• Perform maintenance and trouble shoot the HVAC System.
• To Log and maintain daily Electrical parameters.
• Perform housekeeping of 11KV , 415V & MCC rooms and E & I workshop.
• Carry out Instrumentation maintenance & trouble shoot when required.
• Provide input Electrical spares parts equipment.
• Handle assigned projects independently or minimum supervision when required. 
• Initiates equipment improvement including reliability , performance & safety and implement when approved.
• Supervise contractor works when required.
• Assist & support E & I Technician in maintaining and trouble shoot of plant instrument work.

Required Qualifications

• Hold valid chargeman certificate with minimum B0 issued by Energy Commission 
• SPM with minimum experience of  5 years in similar environment.
