Job Description

  • Manages process engineering resources to achieve business goals, targets, and KPI’s.
  • Manages the identification, documentation, and disposition of the process improvements queue which includes prioritization, economics, &andfeasibility.
  • Engages team members actively and openly in both field and office settings to achieve set operational objectives.
  • Works to further the Grace Manufacturing System (GMS) way of operating: Plan. Do. Check. Problem Solve.
  • Accountable for the good order of the document management system (DMS) to include project documentation, lessons learned, logs, drawings, and general data availability.
  • Accountable for delivering improved process capability and capacity.
  • Interfaces with cross functional site team’s to identify, plan, and execute assigned process improvement projects
  • Supports and conducts safety programs, initiatives, improvements, audits, OIR’s, incident investigations, and Zero Energy Surveys as assigned.
  • Forecasts and manages budgeting, expenditures, RFP, and MSA process as assigned.
  • Works for the continuous improvement of the process body of work to include applicable processes, methodologies, tools, standards, and operating procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS degree in Chemical Engineering or another engineering discipline required.
  • 3+ years engineering experience in a petro-chemical manufacturing environment required.
  • Previous experience as a Production or Process Engineer preferred.
  • Six Sigma certification/Lean Manufacturing experience is preferred.
