Job Description

Grace is seeking a Sr Market Intelligence Analyst to join our Marketing team! This role reports to the Director of Strategic Marketing and will be located at our corporate headquarters in Columbia, MD.


The Sr. Market Intelligence Analysis will be responsible for the Market intelligence process and will conduct research and gather data to help the marketing team better position, manage and develop its products and services.  



  • Develop process to gather external data about consumers, competitors, and market conditions including use of Market Databases, public and paid-for information as well as devising and evaluating methods for collecting data, such as surveys, questionnaires, and customer interviews
  • Collect and analyze market information to understand the market size, environment, needs, trends, and opportunities for the product line. Work with sales to collect direct customer feedback and with global marketing team on overall market analysis
  • Collect and analyze metrics related to sales volumes, revenues, and margins, pricing, market share, etc. to measure success of the product line strategy and report out results to marketing team
  • Advance the analytics program within the function driving creation and adoption of new tools 
  • Monitor competitive behavior and product performance in order to anticipate competitive response.  Collaborate with Global Industry Marketing Managers and Regional Marketing Managers to develop strategies to differentiate our products and services and defend our position
  • Support the global marketing team to develop a long-term strategic plan and where this product line aligns within the plan
  • Support data gathering and preparation of data for investor presentations and supporting Marketing Communication needs

Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in business / commerce
  • 5 years of experience in marketing analysis or product management
  • Fluent in English

  • Experience in chemicals manufacturing
