Job Description

Grace is seeking a Sr Manager, HRIS to join our Human Resources team! This role reports to the Director, HR Operations and is located at the headquarters in Columbia, MD.

The Sr Manager, HRIS will be responsible for managing Grace’s HR Information System(s) and related processes.  The scope of this role includes technology strategy and architecture, operational execution, and leadership of a dedicated team of analysts who help maintain and administer our HR platforms. This person will play an integral role in connecting the HRIS team with key business stakeholders, providing thought leadership and strategic partnership in the delivery of key projects, system design, and daily production tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Lead HRIS Roadmap, projects, process design and training initiatives in support of the companies HR Technology goals
  • Partner with leadership and cross-functional business/IT teams to deliver on projects/initiatives while balancing the day-to-day operations
  • Identify HR tools process improvement opportunities around HR tools and implement such improvements
  • Drive future HR technology platform implementations, upgrades, and acquisition integrations
  • Ensure systematic controls to support all vendor interfaces (Payroll, Benefits, etc.)
  • Ensure adherence to all audit and compliance requirements (i.e. GDPR) and enforce IT standards for enterprise consistency
  • Keep current with industry-leading and best practice trends through conferences, benchmarking, external partnerships, and industry affiliations
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
  • Motivated leader who will inspire and develop a high-performance team
  • Will  lead a team of 4 direct reports

Required Qualifications

  • BS in IT/Computer Science, Business, or related field
  • 10+ years of IT/HRIS/HR professional experience – progressing in roles
  • 5+ years supervisory experience
  • SAP SuccessFactors platform experience
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite
  • Excellent knowledge of data structure/systems
  • Very strong project management skills
  • Excellent communications, interpersonal, and influencing skills with solid business acumen and time management ability
  • Self-starter
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize is a must

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in related field
  • Experience working in a global, complex manufacturing organization
