Job Description

 

Grace is seeking a Marketing Analyst to join our Marketing team as part of our Specialty Catalyst business! This role reports to the Director of Product Management and will be located at our corporate headquarters in Columbia, MD. This is a hybrid schedule including Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in-office and Tuesdays and Fridays flexible days to be in-office OR remote. 

The Marketing Analyst will perform research and gather data to ensure that the Product Management team has the information and data needed to make informed and educated decisions. The Marketing Analyst will support the standardization of processes and systems to maintain a disciplined approach globally.

Responsibilities

Provide global operational support to Product Management, manage product management related data and analytics

  • Track, analyze, and assess key metrics to help maximize the operational efficiency and profitability of the product portfolio, gross margin, mix and optimization
  • Maintain and regularly update the product management related profitability tracking tools and own the margin velocity tool
  • Use appropriate strategic marketing tools, financial analysis and technical tools to assist in solving portfolio challenges
  • Provide cost and margin analysis support for capital investment justifications

 

Maintain accurate product portfolio information and data

  • Initiate management of change’s (MOC's) and complete the material information forms (MIF)
  • Maintain relevant material master fields of each SKU up to date.  Run, analyze and assess the SAP SKU data reports and help develop the implementation plan
  • Create, ensure consistency, maintain and internally publish product Information Sheets ("PIs")
  • Be one of two subject matter experts and global administrators of the Product Information Sheets Application (PISA) software

 

Assist Product Managers in product management related issues

  • With reporting, developing, and maintaining process documents 
  • With participating in projects to perform data analysis and key metrics setting and cost containment initiatives on special customer requests or freight
  • With facilitating global programs implementation. Act as Product Management liaison for Enablon, LIMS, Data Integrity & Governance, SAP & general IT initiatives
  • With following up on customer inquiries, product stewardship, and quality-related inquiries

 

Work collaboratively with colleagues to strengthen the architecture of the aggregate Specialty Catalyst dataset – Insights, Salesforce, Demand Plan and Growth Plan. 
 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree,  Business/Commerce preferred
  • 2 years of experience in data analytics
  • Experience using data visualization tools 
  • Ability to create reports and presentations for presentation
  • Strong organizational, analytical and rationalization skills for analyzing complex financial and business data

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s in business administration
  • Programming experience
