Job Description
Grace is currently seeking a ServiceNow Architect to join our IT team. This position will report to the Principal Architect based at Grace headquarters in Columbia, MD. The ServiceNow Architect will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform to support the organization's IT service management needs. This role is pivotal in enhancing our IT operations and ensuring efficient service management.
Responsibilities
- Design and architect ServiceNow solutions to meet business requirements.
- Lead the transition from the legacy ITSM platform to ServiceNow and integrate various ServiceNow modules.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for ServiceNow configurations and customizations.
- Implement ServiceNow Governance and monitor ongoing enhancements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the IT team and end-users.
- Define and manage ITSM processes, including Change Management, Knowledge Management, Problem Management, and Incident Management, utilizing ServiceNow.
- Ensure the stability and performance of the ServiceNow platform.
- Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and best practices.
- Conduct training sessions for IT staff and end-users on ServiceNow functionalities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in ServiceNow architecture and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB.
- Experience with ServiceNow scripting, workflows, and integrations.
- Proven experience in managing ServiceNow implementation projects and overseeing the migration from legacy platforms to ServiceNow.
- Understanding ITSM process knowledge
- Practical development experience and platform enhancements
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in collaborating with and leading teams from various global regions and offshore locations.
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS).
- Proficiency with the Ivanti Cherwell platform
- Proficiency in ServiceNow automation
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Experience with implementing the Service Now HRSD module
- ServiceNow Administration experience
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Experience in a similar role within a large organization.
