Job Description

 Key Responsibilities

  • Provide SAP functional expertise to develop process documentation and develop training in support of transformational initiative to implement MRP in SAP while working to standardize materials management processes across Grace locations.
  • Develop foundational processes to govern Grace globally as part of transformation initiative and build maturity roadmap to execute continuous improvements
  • Establish key metrics and govern materials management processes
  • Process Design Leader for the SAP MM business / functional initiatives for MM enhancement projects, SAP MM upgrades and related projects. (Scope include requirements identification, liaison with IT team, testing, training etc.) 
  • Create and implement test cases to ensure successful deployment of new enhancements
  • Interact with third party service providers as required to ensure alignment with current and future integrations for sustaining the smooth flow of orders to the customers
  • Create and maintain functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, forms, and reports to support business requirements and/or legacy applications.
  • Document all production planning processes and serve as primary trainer for MM staff and new hires. 
  • Ensure adherence and sustainability for all MM processes.
  • Provide SAP MM support to ensure business operations are not interrupted or delayed
  • Recommend design for Global Materials Management organization with expected benefits, gain support for proposal and execute implementation to include management system and key metrics to track performance
  • Collaborate with cross functional leaders to ensure linkage and understanding of current processes which need to be understood in planning future design
  • Manages major projects independently, exercising discretion, judgement and tact
  • Support inventory improvement projects and cost reduction

Required Skills

  • Ability to manage multiple IT projects in parallel.
  • SAP implementation or major SAP enhancement background
  • Strong Sap MM experience 5-10 years
  • Strong functional, communication and organization skills, with a proven ability to effectively meet deadlines and milestones as well as provide timely updates
  • Influencing Skills
  • Deep functional knowledge of data, processes, and integration points with MM and other SAP modules, SAP and industry standard best practices.
  • Ability to ensure strong alignment between the business requirements/needs and the application solutions/services
  • Experience working with third-party tools
  • Ability to foster teamwork in a fast-paced project environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills, and ability to analyze a situation for potential future problems.
  • Able to meet the development demands of a dynamic, growing company

Required Experience

  • Bachelors and/or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain/ Business -related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with SAP MM configuration (Material Requirements Planning, Capacity Requirement Planning, S&OP, etc)
  • Demonstrated technical ability and determination to meet company objectives
  • Excellent knowledge of MM-related business and implementation processes
  • Strong understanding of system integrations
