Job Description

We’re hiring a Manager Marketing Communications to support our Advanced Refining Technologies Hydroprocessing (ART) business who will be responsible for marketing communications counsel, leadership, project management, and implementation for market activation initiatives. You will report to the Director Marketing, ART and develop the marketing communications strategy and program implementation with a focus on digital media. The role requires the ability to effectively manage the execution of multiple projects including tradeshows and events. Additional responsibilities include:

 

 

  • Has strong knowledge of the hydroprocessing industry/business sub-segments’ markets, products, and value propositions
  • Has understanding of the hydroprocessing brand standards; coordinates and supports program compliance
  • Effectively collaborates with the Media team to scope and manage creative and media deliverables to implement market activation plans
  • Leads execution of digital promotions using the Salesforce.com platform and other related
  • Leads execution of customer events, tradeshows, and conferences managing the development and delivery of all displays, ad specialty items, dinners and supplementary activities, and collateral material; provides all digital assets and creative brief to the digital media team or outside vendors including display fabrication companies; serves as liaison to the event sponsor entity (e.g., trade group or event company) to coordinate sponsorship opportunities, payments, and deliverables
  • Manages updates to ART website content
  • Manages and coordinates technical marketing messaging as part of the marcom strategy
  • Develops and manages schedules and budgets for programs and campaigns
  • Tracks global ART market activation spend and reports this information in a timely way to the Director
  • Manages and analyzes programs and campaign performance metrics and return on company investment; Researches, recommends, and develops new approaches to meeting Marcom needs
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% to include international

Required Skills

  • Experience writing and editing promotional and technical content
  • Strong Marcom project management, implementation, and evaluation skills
  • Strong familiarity with digital media
  • Strong working knowledge of the creative process and production

Required Experience

  • B.S degree, Chemical Engineering highly preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in the chemical manufacturing industry
  • Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS or PhD Chemical Engineer
  • 15+ years supporting refinery/petrochemicals industry
  • 15+ years of experience in Marketing/Product Management #WRGRACE
