Job Description


We are hiring a Marketing Automation Manager reporting directly to the VP, Marketing and will be located out of our corporate headquarters in Columbia, MD. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Thursday on-campus and Tuesday and Friday are remote or flexible. The Marketing Automation Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining the Marketing Technology Stack for the business unit. This includes but is not limited to owning the Industry Insights and the Accolade Technology databases as well as executing Salesforce Pardot campaigns and managing key functional projects. They will drive functional productivity and increased customer engagement through technology enhancements and automation. 




  • Maintain our data ecosystem and ensure integrations among our internal systems, and platforms are secure, stable and efficient.
  • Develop and deploy highly visible and effective digital marketing campaigns to keep the brand in the decision set of our target audience. 
  • Apply account-based marketing principles to drive commercial marketing priorities
  • Manage and enhance the B2B customer and market dataset. Gather data about consumers, competitors, and market conditions including use of Market Databases, public and paid-for information as well as devising methods for collecting data, 
  • Create and maintain analytic dashboards and reporting across all data tools. Undertake analysis and provide recommendations on program performance changes. 
  • Synthesize data across platforms into meaningful insights that inform decisions for executive team members
  • Project Manage the Innovation process to ensure stage gate process stays on timeline and system deliverables are met
  • Support the global marketing team to develop a long-term strategic plan and where this product line aligns with the plan
  • Support the VP in managing the functional budget

Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree preferably in marketing, business, or information technology
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing operations and automation 
  • Data Management experience especially in CRM
  • Experience in customer journey mapping, building solutions on the Adobe platform: Email and Landing Page templates, Forms, Custom Object/API/Integrations, and Lead Scoring
  • Exhibit a clear understanding of B2B customer data flows and structures and how they are used to drive engagement and marketing effort

Preferred Qualifications


  • Master's degree or MBA
  • Power BI or Tableau knowledge a plus
