Job Description

The Manufacturing Technology Manager is a remote position reporting to the Manufacturing & Commissioning Leader is responsible for leading the manufacturing support for existing and new licensees in the design and construction phase through plant start up and continuing to provide ongoing support post start up.  
 

Responsibilities

Major responsibilities include: 

  • Lead the manufacturing support for the plants in operation.
  • Serve on various Customer Teams which are responsible for the development and implementation of technical support for existing and new licensees. 
  • Participate in Engineering and Construction reviews for new plants.
  • Organize the Manufacturing Training for client personnel.
  • Assemble the start-up teams for new plants and coordinates/participates in the pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities.
  • Lead warranty run efforts. 
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts.
  • Lead the manufacturing support effort for introducing new technologies into existing plants. 
  • Take the process lead role in organizing and executing techX conferences with licensees and in the handling of any follow-up action items.
  • Take a lead role in organizing and executing the annual onsite Technical Assistance Meetings with licensees.
  • 40% travel

Required Qualifications

  • At least 8 years’ experience in UNIPOL® PP process in manufacturing, technology, or process engineering
  • Experience in leading technical teams
  • Work in multidisciplinary, international teams
  • BS engineering (preferably Chemical Engineering)

  • Organize and lead multiple simultaneous projects with widely varying objectives.

  • Experience in PP manufacturing process
  • Keep abreast of industry advancements, propose appropriate advancements for inclusion in our offerings, champion continuous improvement.

Compensation Data

This position will pay $166,000-184,500 with annual target bonus of 16%.
