Job Description

We’re hiring an Investor Relations (IR) and Corporate Development Analyst, reporting to the Senior IR Manager that will focus on developing investor communication materials, communicating with investors and sell-side analysts, identifying potential new investors and maintaining/developing investor presentations for the financial community. This is a high visibility role that requires the ability to produce financial analysis including valuation and deal modeling for mergers, acquisitions and other strategic initiatives to support Grace's growth strategies. Additional responsibilities:



  • Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to support the preparation of regular quarterly reports, conference calls, and investor presentations.
  • Support IR events, including non-deal roadshows, conferences and conference calls, as well as updating and maintaining the IR database.
  • Support and assist with the creation of the quarterly earnings materials, presentations, press release and Q&A preparation
  • Involved in various aspects of corporate development (i.e., mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, investments) including building complex financial models and valuations; perform strategic and quantitative analysis; analyze target companies and industries; prepare competitive analysis; and conduct and coordinate due diligence.
  • Effectively manage complex financial and valuation modeling and analysis (including discounted cash flows, comparables and multiples analysis, accretion/dilution, investment returns, and sensitivity analysis) for potential M&A transactions, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Support due diligence efforts with global deal teams including both internal business segment and corporate functional teams as well as external advisors (investment banks, law firms, accounting firms) to ensure appropriate review.
  • Create consistent and concise presentations for leadership teams and other stakeholders; provide analysis and recommendations to assist with strategic decision making.
  • Build network of internal relationships across the global organization

Required Skills

  • Strong finance and accounting experience to include quantitative and analytical skills and ability to use Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements to create financial analysis.                               
  • Independent, analytical and intellectually curious person who can structure analysis and articulate findings to a wide range of stakeholders including senior leadership throughout the organization.
  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint

Required Experience

  • BS degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related         
  • 3-5 years relevant experience with in-depth knowledge of complex financial modeling and strategic analysis; valuation; and company and market research

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior IR experience, corporate development, investment banking, or strategy consulting including demonstrated experience building and managing financial models
  • Experience using external data sources such as Capital IQ, Thomson, and Bloomberg  #WRGRACE
