Job Description

W.R. Grace continues to look for Game Changers and hiring a Manufacturing/Supply Chain Transformation Leader, who will report to VP, Transformation Management Office (TMO). If you’re energized by driving excellence, ability to work in dynamic environment, have strong change management capabilities, along with strong financial acumen, this opportunity is for you.

 

Over the next 3-5 years we are on a journey to reduce manufacturing cost by $300 per Mt, spend $400M of growth capital that generates ~$140M of margin. To implement this structure Grace has implement a Transformation Management Office (TMO) to support the initiatives that will generate the next level of company growth and margin expansion. This transformation journey includes investment in process capabilities related to Grace’s manufacturing system, maintenance reliability programs, capital management, integrated business management, order to cash, master data management, and logistics network optimization. You will support the TMO and support six work stream leaders, and be a key conduit in helping the corporation achieve its future business objectives outlined above. Responsibilities include: 

 

  • Plan, organize, and support TMO structure. Partner closely with VP – TMO, with key focus areas being change management, communications, business case oversight/tracking, and governance/cadences
  • Set up TMO management structure /systems, KPI’s and executive steering team meeting cadence structure.
  • Own monthly reporting of business case progress, including consulting costs and associated benefits, across all TMO projects
  • Lead meetings and working sessions with stakeholders, SME’s and senior leaders to assist with: developing/monitoring the business cases; monitoring project plans using the appropriate tools, identifying key deliverables, risks, and timelines; managing project dependencies and critical path items; taking action to troubleshoot problem areas.
  • Lead coordination and execution of monthly TMO steering team reviews.
  • Manage TMO communications plan across all projects, in partnership with Corporate Communications and the individual Project leaders
  • Manage TMO change management activities, including detailed stakeholder impact analyses, by project, as well as overlaps across projects
  • Own adherence to the change management infrastructure across Grace
  • Supervision of 3 Business Analysts

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of financial implications on business results
  • Outstanding analytical, conceptual and implementation skills; initiative, persuasive and a strong team spirit

  • Ability to lead individual projects
  • Develop succinct metrics to determine and monitor success
  • Process development and data governance
  • Global experience
  • Microsoft Suite, with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint  

Required Experience

  • BS degree in Finance, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business or related field
  • 8+ yrs financial management & planning
  • Experience in financial reporting
  • Impact and influence skills and strong experience in change management
  • Project Management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in Integrated Supply Chain environment or Manufacturing environment
  • MBA
  • PMP
  • SAP
  • Prior supervisory experience
  • Experience leading transformation type projects
  • Experience with change management tools & Lean Six Sigma
