Job Description

This position will work across HR to complete North America and global HR projects that will optimize and improve value stream processes, customer facing problems and demonstrate business value. This role will direct, implement and evaluate projects; mentor project leaders, train end-users (i.e. HR, leaders, and employees); and provide regular reporting of project updates to the HR Vice Presidents and other Senior Leaders.

  • Define and prioritize potential projects including financial benefit and process/business impact.
  • Lead large and small scale cross functional HR teams with focus on continuous methodology.
  • Influence and lead teams through difficult or complex efforts.
  • Work independently with project teams to ensure completion and delivery of projects.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to project leaders and partner with them to establish project charters and key deliverables/project plans. 
  • Utilize change acceleration skills to remove barriers to keep project on track.
  • Provide continuous improvement training to end users (i.e. employees, leaders, and stakeholders).
  • Lead project review meetings.  
  • Work closely with Internal Audit to ensure that completed projects satisfy SOX compliance.

Required Skills

  • Project management experience and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with teams, as either a resource and/or leader, to achieve common goals. 
  • Solid understanding of Lean Six Sigma tools.
  • Leadership skills (can construct a vision, thinks creatively to solve issues, and is goal-oriented).
  • Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Possess the ability to successfully facilitate project events, training sessions, and meetings.
  • Decision making, problem solving, and analytical/quantitative skills .
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or related field. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
