Job Description
This role is a key financial partner with Global Operations and Corporate Financial Leadership. This position assists in leading process improvement and standardization as well as troubleshooting and problem solving across the manufacturing network. This role will be required to present findings, recommendations, solutions and implementation plans to all levels of Operations and Financial Leadership. This role will also act as “mentor” to the Business/Regional Operations Finance Managers for onboarding, standardization, and project management.
Responsibilities
- Lead the consolidation and management of Global Operations financial results, managing the alignment between the regional leadership and business leadership.
- Coordinate the Global Operations EIP alignment with Corporate FP&A, including the critical communications within the broader Grace EIP Program.
- Manage Global Operations SG&A, partnering with Global Operations President and Leadership Team.
- Assume a leadership role in changing our standard costing methodology to align with MRP process and explore moving to a capacity-based format.
- Critical Problem solver - resolution of financial issues across the network as they arise including costing, forecasting and reporting. This may include data gathering, analysis and solution determination. Potential travel to sites to manage/work on large strategic/tactical issues (insurance claims, capital modeling, M&A, EIP, etc).
Required Qualifications
- 10 years relevant experience in large multinational manufacturing corporation - progressing in finance/accounting and working in a matrixed environment.
- Demonstrated Leader of processes without direct line supervisory hierarchy.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills - as well as excellent business acumen.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Strong analytical abilities and financial modelling skills
- Team oriented and capable of collaborating across multiple functions within the organization in order to achieve desired outcomes
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks/deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter, requiring little guidance or supervision
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Microsoft Office Suite capabilities are essential (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
