Job Description

The Finance Manager, Grace Global Supply Chain will partner directly with the Vice President, Global Supply Chain, the Vice President, Finance Global Operations, and the Supply Chain Leadership team to drive, measure and manage key financial metrics within Grace’s Supply Chain, productivity and build robust operating processes, develop strategic plans, and drive standardization of scalable best practices across all channels. This position will lead and provide financial guidance and support to the Supply Chain organization, including total Supply Chain cost including logistics and warehousing costs, inventory, forecasting process, productivity, and cash management.


Provide leadership and financial oversight to the Global Operations Supply Chain team through the following activities:

  • Financial leadership, cost and expense management, and decision support for our Global Operations organization, including assistance with S&OP, Customer Service, Logistics, Warehousing and Inventory. 
  • Support Supply Chain and Finance leadership in developing and managing the Supply Chain Finance Management System and process.
  • Monthly, quarterly, annual, and long-range financial planning processes related to cost inflation, total cost of ownership, productivity and inventory.
  • Partnerships with the Global Supply Chain teams in an effort to develop robust cost, inventory and supply forecasts. Assess opportunities and risks through analysis of forecasts.
  • Leading in-depth financial, variance, and trending analyses for key profitability drivers and other financial and non-financial metrics. Interpret results and articulate actionable recommendations to maximize profitability and ensure financial targets are achieved.
  • Collaborate with FP&A partners across business units.
  • Support investment initiatives for capital and technology investments through strategic analysis, investment optimization analytics, valuation, and financial due diligence.
  • Lead and drive the preparation for effective Supply Chain reviews (management operating reviews (MOR), annual operating plan (AOP), and ad hoc presentations) with the Global Operations Leadership and Grace Leadership Teams, where key metrics are reviewed, and other business-critical issues are discussed.
  • Assist in key strategic areas, such as SKU rationalization, inbound warehousing consolidation and other network optimization projects.
  • Lead the supply chain annual budget process - perform annual cost rolls, prepare detailed operating & capital spend plans, provide manufacturing budget reviews through various analysis and bridges.
  • Work closely with the corporate finance team on month end close tasks, inventory management, audit and ensuring proper internal controls.

Required Qualifications

  • 10 years relevant experience in a large multinational manufacturing corporation - progressing in finance/accounting and working in a matrixed environment.
  • 2+ years of experience of manufacturing accounting in an SAP environment.
  • Demonstrated Leader of processes without direct line supervisory hierarchy.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills - as well as excellent business acumen.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Strong analytical abilities and financial modelling skills
  • Team oriented and capable of collaborating across multiple functions within the organization in order to achieve desired outcomes
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks/deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter, requiring little guidance or supervision
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Microsoft Office Suite capabilities are essential (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
