Job Description
Grace is seeking a Cybersecurity Jr Risk Analyst to join our Global Cybersecurity Team! This role reports to Governance, Risk and Compliance Analyst located in Columbia, MD.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Jr Risk Analyst to join our cybersecurity team. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals passionate about information security and risk management. You will support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of cybersecurity risks across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Assist with developing, maintaining, and supporting security communication, awareness, and training.
- Support the development and maintenance of risk registers and documentation.
- Conduct assessments of security controls and compliance with internal cybersecurity standards.
- Support the implementation of a risk management program and framework.
- Help refine control and audit mechanisms to monitor and maintain compliance.
- Assist with due diligence for third-party vendors to ensure compliance.
- Support cybersecurity personnel and IT staff in understanding and responding to security assessment gaps.
- Prepare reports and metrics.
- Perform other related duties as required by manager.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
- 2-4 years in a control assessment, third-party risk, and/or cybersecurity role.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Knowledge of security and compliance testing IT infrastructure.
