Job Description

We’re hiring a Business & Data Analytics, Senior Analyst who will support our Corporate Development department, reporting the Sr. VP, Strategy, Planning & Sustainability.  As a Senior Analyst, you will prepare financial analysis including running business cases, assessing investment options, supporting projects through data analytics, researching businesses or markets, all in the support of Grace's growth strategies.

 


This position is located at our corporate headquarters in Columbia, MD and offers a hybrid work schedule, 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
 

Responsibilities

  • Develop improved analytical tools accessing source data and creating pivot tables to capture the required information
  • Work with current tools to add new data dimensions to support the changing needs of the business
  • Support ad hoc requests for specific analysis using various datasets and tools
  • Manage central reporting repository of key tools and reports with executive leadership access
  • Create and support “high impact” analysis for strategic initiatives around major investment decisions including developing pro forma income and cash flow statements for various investment, capital, joint venture or other projects
  • Create consistent and concise presentations for leadership teams and other stakeholders and provide analysis and recommendations to assist with strategic decision making
  • Build network of internal relationships across the global organization. 

Required Qualifications

  • B.S. Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field
  • 3-5 years relevant experience with in-depth knowledge and experience creating complex financial modeling and strategic analysis, valuations, and company and market research
  • Understanding of finance/accounting to include strong quantitative/analytical skill 
  • Experience working with Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements to perform financial analysis; Experience building and using financial models
  • Independent, analytical and intellectually curious person who can structure analysis and articulate findings to a wide range of stakeholders including senior leadership
  • Advanced knowledge using Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in financial planning, corporate development, investment banking, or strategy consulting
  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Experience using SAP
  • Experience using data sources such as Capital IQ, Thomson, and Bloomberg
