Job Description

The Production Engineer will have responsibility for improving plant processes, and provide engineering support for maintenance, EH&S, and quality improvements.  This position will supervise capital projects and contractor projects. 

Responsibilities

  • Develops and drives operational plans to ensure high quality product is produced, to maximize production rates, and to improve production yield. 
  • Manages production yield, rate, & quality performance data and improves product recipes and control plans.
  • Troubleshoots process/production and EHS issues.
  • Maintains accuracy of SOPs.
  • Supports new product trials.
  • Leads/Manages quality, process, and productivity projects.
  • Supports site RCAs and conducts near miss and incident investigations.
  • Follows the MOC process, conducts PHAs, and participates in PSSRs.

Required Qualifications

BS degree in Chemical Engineering or another engineering discipline

  • 2+ years engineering experience with a chemical manufacturing plant
