Job Description

Grace Supply Planning Leads perform a critical role in our cross-functional, integrated planning and decision-making process – proactively managing, coordinating, and communicating forward-looking supply projections that are derived from commercially-oriented demand projections to ensure superior service to customers and predictability of business performance. Grace Supply Planning Leads are responsible for developing and detailing tactical supply plans and coordinating execution with Operations, including Manufacturing, Logistics, and Sourcing/Procurement resources.


  • Lead the creation of Business Intelligence capabilities to streamline reporting and reduce manual labor to pull data from the different systems. Must convert large amount of information into facts to support decision making process for Demand, Supply and Inventory planning.
  • Lead the tactical development and execution of a rolling 18-month supply plan, align tactical supply plans that include weekly details with strategic supply plans that describe monthly projected supply targets for a rolling 18-month planning horizon.
  • Optimize production throughout supply network consisting of multiple internal plants and external tolling partners.
  • Work with Operations to develop and maintain effective Plant Product Wheels to optimize service, working capital, and operating efficiencies. Responsible for escalated issues and working across functions to drive solutions.
  • Maintain feasible tactical Supply Plans that reflect manufacturing capabilities, link to detailed execution schedules, and are adjusted for operational dynamics (e.g. unplanned outages).
  • Manage production and inventory decisions in collaboration with Strategic Supply Planners, Demand Planning Leads, and Sales Ops Leads, including quantity and location.
  • Monitor constraints and work with Operations to develop mitigation plans to align manufacturing and supply capabilities with strategic supply plans and demand.
  • Collect, organize data to support performance measurement; using analysis to make recommendations and drive improvements (i.e. Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Business Results of S&OP Plans. Scenarios).

Required Qualifications

  • B.S. Degree, in Business or related field; or equivalent experience
  • 7 - 10 years’ Supply Planning experience
  • English proficient

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP IBP Integrated Business Planning experience desired
  • Business Analytics experience
  • Experience in an operations role
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lead/manage within the matrix organization and influence without authority 
  • Understanding of Supply Planning and Operations
  • Sense of urgency and bias towards action
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Able to identify and analyze opportunities for improving financial drivers throughout supply chain
