Job Description
Successful candidate for Licensing Engineer position will be involved in multiple activities as part of the Licensing Engineering group. They include Process Design Package development for new licenses, engineering studies for existing licenses, engineering reviews, construction reviews, plant commissioning, startup, and other services.
Responsibilities
- Lead and assist in the development of Process Design Packages (PDP).
- Deliver process design in assigned process areas and/or equipment.
- Develop and perform process simulation.
- Develop process flow diagrams and generate heat and material balances.
- Perform process equipment sizing calculations.
- Develop and write process control instrumentation specification data sheets.
- Develop piping and instrument diagrams and process control logic diagrams.
- Participate in engineering and construction reviews, plant pre-commissioning and startup, and plant trials to ensure plant compliance to PDP requirements.
- Provide technical services to customers.
Required Qualifications
- BS engineering (preferably Chemical Engineering)
- 7+ years of experience as process and/or operation engineer
- Experience in polyolefin industry, with preference in polypropylene
Preferred Qualifications
- Process engineering design experience
- Ability to complete projects with tight deadlines
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Project and cost control experience
- Problem solving; analytical thinking
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Team player
- Communicate professionally and effectively with persons of various occupational backgrounds, including operations, maintenance, engineering, marketing, and management.
- Innovative
- Professional proficiency in English (both oral and written communication)
