Job Description

This role is responsible for developing North and South America executional marketing plans by seamlessly consolidating long-term global strategic marketing, product management, and sales plans into the necessary actions required within the region to drive growth and profitability annually. This person will direct all regional marketing planning efforts, recommend market activation activities, track lead generation results, monitor overall plan performance, and report return on investment for the region and related activities. This is a highly collaborative role that works closely within the Regional Marketing group, across the Marketing organization, and with the related Sales team. 

Key Job Responsibilities: 

•    Work within the Regional Marketing group and collaboratively across the Marketing and Sales organization to develop effective regional marketing plans
•    Detail, at a regional level, the actions needed, timing, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), whether financial, marketing, or otherwise, that require investment and resources by the marketing organization to ensure we hit our annual targets, including:    
•    Comprehend strategic marketing plans and priorities aligning key regional end-use applications and products with regional needs to drive focus and optimize our resources
•    Understand product management’s view of organizational product availability and trade-offs which may be necessary to optimize total Grace MT profitability
•    Remain consistent with our messaging and focus driving demand
•    Create a roadmap that outlines the desired goals and regional targets – the metrics and KPIs that will mean success in the region and by which ROI can be calculated against
•    Detail the recommended types of marketing activities necessary to achieve these goals 
•    Measure progress and report performance regularly – although the outcome goal will be established the activation projects can be flexible and adaptable to ensure we achieve top results and ROI
•    In conjunction with the Marketing Communications team, oversee coordination of key customer facing events within the region, including tradeshows, seminars, and lunch & learns
•    Coordinate with Marketing Communications to localize campaigns, programs and content as needed to drive success in the region and drive sales enablement 
•    Seek opportunities and programs to close opportunity pipeline gaps in targeted segments and accounts
•    Actively seek out new and different tactics to recommend reaching new target buyers
•    Collect and report on regional industry market trends and provide competitive intelligence
•    Develop and execute a proactive feedback loop between global marketing and commercial teams
•    Align with marketing team on planned budget and manage to this budget annually
