Job Description

We are seeking a Recruiter to be a part of a dynamic Talent Acquisition Team at W. R. Grace.  The duration of this temporary assignment is expected to be 6 months to 1 year with the possibility of becoming full-time. This position requires the ability to partner with business lines leaders and other stakeholders to focus primarily on hiring hourly staff to work at our manufacturing sites in the US. You will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring talent into the Grace organization.  The position is located at our corporate headquarters in Columbia, MD with occasional travel to our site in Curtis Bay/Baltimore, MD.  Responsibilities include the following:

  • Identify, attract, and recruit experienced hourly manufacturing positions. Manage sourcing strategy, candidate development and execution of full life cycle recruitment.
  • Consult and partner with Grace Staff to develop and implement recruitment strategies that align with and meet key business priorities and talent strategy. Recommend recruitment strategies and best practices based on expertise, knowledge and/or experience.
  • Understand global business line strategy and align recruiting strategies and programs to achieve business goals, including alignment of staffing, succession planning, and compensation.
  • Actively manage candidate development and experience, as well as actively participate in the interview and selection process.
  • Lead offer preparation and negotiations with candidates.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, market intelligence, and innovative recruiting techniques to attract and compete in a competitive market for talent.
  • Identify opportunities and work to improve the quality and efficiency of the recruitment process and practices. 
  • Participate in recruiting and talent management related and additional HR projects/initiatives. 
  • Ensure all requisition/candidate activity data is captured in the applicant tracking system.
  • Participate in TA operational duties such as training and monitoring of ATS system, actively participates in audits, reporting, analysis of data, refining standard operating procedures, and social media and marketing strategies.

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and ATS with Success Factors highly desirable

Required Experience

  • B.S. degree in Human Resources or related field or H.S. Diploma plus equivalent years of experience
  • 2-3+ years recruiting experience in with manufacturing or hourly work force
  • Experience utilizing multiple candidate development tools, including; social media, networking, referrals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working an agency environment highly preferred
