Job Description

The position will analyze the functionality for the demand and supply planning functions while working to develop processes and capabilities to allow for the system retirement of AIMS (ART Information Management System) in 2019 as well as leading the implementation of OMP (demand management system) for the demand planning team.  The individual will need to engage and work cross functionally with various stakeholders in ISC and the ART Business to ensure functionality is maintained while building the capabilities in other systems / processes.

  • Leads the planning teams/business in developing and evaluating business process (As-is and To-be Studies) in the AIMS / OMP system and helps to implement processes into technology solutions
  • Utilizes planning expertise to improve process efficiency in alignment with the Gibm methodology
  • Works collaboratively with demand and supply planning teams in the ART business to develop new processes while challenging as-is processes
  • Leads design sessions with multiple cross functional teams
  • Documents detailed requirements and gaps in capabilities and responsible for recommending solutions to business/planning teams for problem resolution
  • Develops and manages detailed project plan with milestones, clear actions and deliverables
  • Documents new processes and develops training documentation for users on new systems/processes
  • Responsible for guiding/training and influencing acceptance of new processes in new technologies
  • Utilizes Grace Change Management toolkits to drive process and systems changes across the ISC and business organizations

Required Skills

  • Solid experience in end to end supply chain processes
  • Lean / Six Sigma Certification to a GB level minimum with a level of expertise in Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Continuous Flow Manufacturing, Pull System, Standardized Work, 5S,
  • Understanding of key financial metrics and strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • High degree of organizational skills; ability to plan, organize, build effective teams and drive for results.
  • Strong communication skills, intercultural awareness and ability to work with and motivate people not reporting directly
  • Highly motivated team player with hands on mentality and managerial courage, results-orientation; collaborative, team player

Required Experience

  • 10-15 years’ experience in planning with strategic, tactical, scheduling, execution perspectives preferred
  • Bachelor/ Master’s degree
