Job Description

Grace is seeking a Senior Manager International Tax to join our Finance team! This role is in individual contributor role reporting to the Vice President of Tax.  This position will sit in Columbia, Maryland. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the US GAAP accounting process for the US income tax provision.
  • Responsible for the quarterly/year-end US international portion of the tax provision under the private company reporting requirements.
  • Oversee and manage the non-US income tax compliance filing obligations and liaise with external resources to ensure timely reporting, with particular focus on Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, Spain, Canada and Luxembourg
  • Ensure Company’s compliance with all international tax controls.
  • Work with related entities on implementation, monitoring and complying with international compliance reporting (Pillar 2, DAC6, MDR, etc)
  • Liaise with Transfer Pricing leader to ensure adequate review of billing factors as well as annual transfer pricing adjustment computations.
  • Support the international tax audits.
  • Working with the VP of Tax and Director of Tax on streamlining and automating the tax provision and compliance processes
  • Track international tax law changes and their impact on the Company.
  • Ensure compliance with the Company’s CbC reporting requirements.
  • Model different aspects of international tax planning opportunities
  • Ensure that international tax opportunities and tax credits are maximized, supported and documented.
  • Assist with other ad-hoc projects, including §382 testing, entity structure optimization, attribute utilization, acquisition related due diligence and purchase accounting tax-related issues.
  • Research tax law and operational changes that may impact the Company’s tax posture.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • 12+ years of relevant tax experience in either public accounting or a corporate tax department, salary is commensurate with experience
  • SAP and related systems (BPC, SAC, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and verbal/written communication skills 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment.                
  • Experience with corporate tax software and on-line tax research products
  • Experience with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA, MST or LLM
